Here are two commits. The first one uses Net::SFTP::Foreign with 'autodie' to avoid the deprecation warning from N:S:F::Exceptional (and the huge ensuing stack trace from dzil). The second one fixes a bug that prevented the module from working for me.

Looks good and removes the need for a perlcritic escape. I'll apply that change and work on a new release.
